Buffy is a 16 year old chosen to kill vampires preferably by staking
them in the chest: this is her destiny. So while her schoolmates worry about their
next date or the spot on their nose or just growing up, Buffy is also stressing
over her next kill.
She has recently moved to suburban California, a
move thought wise by her mother after Buffy burnt down her LA school gym because
it was full of vampires.
Unfortunately, Buffy cannot escape her blood-sucking
enemies. Her new neighbourhood Sunnydale is built on Hellmouth opening, a tunnel
that delivers not only vampires but all kinds of villainous beasts and demons
straight on to Buffy's streets. Luckily Buffy is a young woman with superhuman
strength and with the help of an eccentric librarian, who sees her destiny, she
founds the absurd and effective evil-fighting team called "The Scooby Gang."
Together they survive one apocalyptic mission after another and still manage
to attend school in the morning.
The series has become a cult TV show
