Born on September 21, 1967, in Jackson, Mississippi, Faith is a beautiful sexy country and western singer and performer. She grew up in Star, Mississippi, and Faith is a true star in the world of country music. Her stellar blend of folksy charm, genuine sincerity, and the talent of a legend has kept her consistently on the charts.

Faith would sing whenever she could, family reunions, during high school, at churches, rodeos and country fairs. At 19, Faith figured she was ready to try her luck in the city of Nashville, ground zero for country music. Things didn't quite pan out as she planned, and Faith ended up selling T-shirts before nabbing a job as a receptionist at a music publishing company. Faith admits she was "a closet singer" around the office for a year or so, until one of the in-house writers, David Chase, overheard her and convinced her to cut a demo of a song called "It Scares Me". Faith played it for her boss, Gary Morris, who proceeded to give her the kick in the pants she needed to pursue her music career.

Faith, now following her dream, visited the famed Bluebird Café to sing harmony with composer Gary Burr, and soon Faith was singing with him regularly. At one of those Bluebird gigs, she got her long deserved break when Warner Bros. rep Martha Sharp, asked Faith for a demo tape. Faith's debut, "Take Me As I Am", hit the streets in 1994. Her hit song, "Wild One", featured Faith's take on Janis Joplin's hard-rockin' classic, "Piece of My Heart". Faith's single, "Take Me As I Am", has sold over two million copies, and also nailed the Academy of Country Music's Top New Female Artist Award.
