Severina Vuckovic was born on April
21, 1972 in Split, Croatia.
She displayed
an enormous talent for singing and has performed at various local musical events
since she was a kid. In 1998 she recorded
her first album entitled "Village Girl," and since has become the most popular
and the best selling pop artist in Croatian history. Althoughy
enormously popular in her home country, Severina Vuckovic fame was always limited
and localized in scope. But that definitely changed in early June of 2004, when
Severina, who was until then considered a symbol of religious and righteous purity
in Croatia, started receiving a worldwide attention when, reportedly stolen, two-year
old self-homemade video of her engaging in a sizzling hot sex with her then lover
Milan Lucic (already a married man with three children) began circulating on the
internet. Move over Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton and Tonya Harding, here's another
