Patrick was born in Montana on July 25, 1976, the daughter of a Thai mother and
English father. The family soon moved to San Francisco, where Tera did the bulk
of her growing up. Tera's mother moved back to Thailand shortly after, leaving
Tera Patrick with her father. At the age of thirteen, she was spotted by a talent
scout while wandering around Fisherman's Wharf wearing an Ozzy Ozbourne t-shirt.
Tera soon signed with the Ford Agency and spent the next five years working as
a mainstream model. Tera Patrick grew into a stunningly beautiful young woman,
but still found that work was hard to come by for someone with her exotic features
and mixed ethnicity. She quit modeling and devoted herself to school, attaining
a degree in microbiology. Tera Patrick got a job as a nurse, but soon found herself
pining for her days in front of the camera. She'd always been curious about nude
modeling and began baring all for magazine spreads and ads. As often happens,

Erotic Film Festival as the Best New American Starlet. Tera Patrick was considering
leaving the business early in 2000, but an offer for an exclusive contract from
Digital Playground changed her mind. Her first release for them stands out as
maybe her hottest work ever, the interactive DVD "Virtual Sex with Tera Patrick."
Tera seems set to become one of the biggest stars in hardcore, appearing in lots
