| Tiffani Amber Thiessen was born on January 23 1974
in Long Beach, California. Tiffani is a middle child; she has both an older and
younger brother. She started her career at the age of eight, when her uncle suggested
she try modeling. Soon after that she was featured in commercials for The Peaches
and Cream Barbie Doll. Tiffani Amber Thiessen was disappointed with these stints
because she could never hold the Barbie doll; instead she had to hold Ken. She
blamed it on her hair color-"I guess I wasn't blond enough ".
Shortly after these commercials she began entering beauty pageants
and won the Miss. Junior America Pageant in 1987. These pageants unfortunately
created jealousy, and her colleagues started bad-mouting her. In 1992, she starred
in her first movie A Killer Among Friends in which she got tortured and killed
by her two best friends. Her first experience was described as a painful one,
according to the young actress, and she was exhausted to the point of having a
masseuse come to her room. Her next venture was to guest-star
on Married... with Children where she also met her boyfriend/husband/now ex-husband
Brian Austin Green. The funny thing is that they were friends for 4 years before
ultimately falling in love. After a great run, they ended the relationship only
to find out that they are better off as friends. Even though their publicist claims
that " It's a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship that still could be."
Her big break came on Saved by the Bell in which she played
a popular cheerleader named Kelly Kapowski. Apparently life on the set was like
life in school, where everybody had nicknames (Tiffani's nickname was Tiffles).
When Saved by the Bell was cancelled, she landed a role in Son-in-Law, co-starring
Pauly Shore. The next big step in her career was the unforgettable
milk commercial where she co-starred with another attrative girl. Milk, does a
body good! She then decided to chop off her long hair and revive her role as Kelly
Kapowski in Saved by the Bell: The College Years - which was cancelled after only
one season. As a side note, Tiffani is very concerned with her health; she takes
kickboxing lessons and works out with a trainer 4 days a week. After
Saved by the Bell, she was cast on the ever popular and successful Beverly Hills
90210. She played a good girl turn bad girl, which brought new life, and an edge
to the show. The summer of 1995 was an exciting one for Tiffani Amber Thiessen,
where she filmed two movies The Stranger Beside Me with Eric Close and She Fought
Alone with Brian Austin Green. On a final note we would like
to tell you that Tiffani Amber Thiessen is a vegetarian and her favorite colors
are black and white. She has two pet golden retrievers named Sadie and Savannah.
She is actually best friends with Jennie Garth, her long time enemy on 90210. |
